The Minister for Further and Higher Education announced funding for two projects in Munster Technological University earlier today.
The money will upgrade and extend the existing teaching facilities in MTU Cork, as well as allow the university's Bishopstown Campus to cater to a growing numbers of learners and disciplines.
Minister Simon Harris says the new infrastructure will be used to address skills shortages in the economy.
