Jessie Buckley says she was first drawn to working with songwriter Bernard Butler because of his "amazing hair".
The pair have been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music prize award, following the release of their album For All Our Days That Tear The Heart.
They'll be up against 11 other acts - including Sam Fender and Harry Styles.
