IMO Warns Junior Doctors Will Be Balloted On Industrial Action If HSE's Recruitment Freeze Isn't Lifted

The Irish Medical Organisation is warning that junior doctors will be balloted on industrial action next month, if the HSE's recruitment freeze isn't lifted.

The IMO claims the freeze on new recruits breaches an agreement to reduce working hours, signed by the HSE just 12 months ago.

A ballot will be called in January if the issue isn't resolved.
