The funeral of Sinead O'Connor takes place this morning.
People in Bray Co Wicklow and fans of the star will have the chance to pay their final respects when her funeral cortege passes along the seafront in Bray at 10.30 this morning.
Her burial will be private.
Local Bray Councillor Dermot O'Brien says today is an opportunity to say a final goodbye to Sinead.
"The Gardai have told us that around 10.30 they have arranged for the cortege to go from the Harbour Bar at the harbour end of the seafront, and pass Sinead's former home.
"I imagine the opportunity then is for people to line up on the route in their own dignified way and have that moment."
