WATCH: The John Lewis Christmas ad has arrived

We can officially start the run in to Christmas as the John Lewis ad has landed!
We've already been treated to some great, heartwarming ads from the likes of Aldi and SuperValu but the John Lewis one hits differently.
This year's loveable characters are Mr. Pidge and Spikes the Hedgehog as we see them performing acts of kindness and discover the true spirit of Christmas. The music in the John Lewis ads is always part of the experience with Celeste providing the soundtrack this year with the song 'A Little Love'.
The advertisement encourages people to give donations to Home-Start and FareShare to help over 100,000 families in need, which John Lewis and Waitrose will be supporting. More information is available here.
And of course the bit you've been waiting for...
This Christmas we want to #GiveALittleLove with @Waitrose. Because together we can make a big difference. Help us give a little love to families in need with @HomeStartUK and @FareShareUK: https://t.co/VtjK92jwuF pic.twitter.com/8ZHmYpEoEA
