Cork Bar Wins Irish Bar Of the Year

The Bar of the Year Awards took place this week at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
Cask on MacCurtain Street in Cork has been named the best bar in the country for the second year in a row.
The bar, which opened in 2017, has a wide range of creative and unique cocktails and delicious food. It also boasts a beautiful interior and even has a waterfall in it's outdoor area!
The bar also won Cocktail Bar of the Year as well as Cask's manager, Andy Ferreira, bagging the Bar Manager of the Year Award. Cask also placed second in the Innovative Bar of the Year category.
There was even more success for other Cork bars with the Montenotte Hotel's Panorama Bar winning Best Hotel Bar, newly established Impala winning Best Craft Beer Bar and The Shelbourne being named Whiskey Bar of the Year.
