Taoiseach Mícheál Martin has announced a move to Level 5.

  • Schools to remain open
  • Construction and manufacturing to continue 
  • Only essential retail to remain open
  • Only essential workers are permitted to travel to work
  • 5km exercise limit to be introduced
  • No social or family gatherings in homes or gardens.
  • Restaurants, cafes and bars allowed to cater for take-away service only
  • Weddings to stay at 25 people
  • 'Support Bubbles' will be introduced - Those living alone, or at risk of social isolation, can pair with one other houeshold as part of a support bubble.
  • The Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be restored to €350 euro for anyone who earns  €400 euro a week or more 
  • New supports for mental health services to be rolled out.
  • Measures to remain in place until December 1st.
