The Taoiseach Says A Vaccine Could Be A Wonderful Christmas Present
He said it would act 'as a voucher for the next 12 months'
Michéal Martin says there could be authorisation from EU and US regulatory authorities for a vaccine by the second half of December.
Speaking with Virgin Media News, he says everything we've done has been worth it - but it's time to 'double down':
'A vaccine gives us hope. And also, I think enables us to say, let's double down and not lose pace on the final 10 minutes of this, and give it everything we have to keep the virus under pressure.'
