Teaching Unions Say Time To Plan For New Social Distancing Guidelines In Schools Has Been Lost

They say it's due to delays in receiving the health advice

Guidance was published earlier this week for the return of schools, including third class pupils and upwards maintaining at least one metre's distance, and two metres in secondary school.

The guidelines aren't expected to change before students return in late August, with the National Public Health Emergency team saying it's now up to school management to implement the measures over the next few weeks.
