More countries to be added to Ireland's green list for travel next week

A Minister of State says more countries will be added to Ireland's 'green list' for foreign travel next week.

It's after Ryanair threatened to close its bases in Cork and Shannon airports from October to March if the list isn't extended.

About 130 staff would be put on unpaid leave for the six months.

But the government has promised to review the green list of ten countries next Monday.

And Limerick TD and Minister of State, Niall Collins, says he expects more countries will be added.
