Health Minister says he'd like to see Pfizer vaccine rolled out to 12-15 year olds with underlying conditions

The European Medicines Agency has approved the jab for children of that age after a trial found it was safe to use

There's been no advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee yet on rolling it out here.

Minister Stephen Donnelly says one option is to make it part of a school vaccination programme:

"So we'd be awaiting a considered view from NIAC on that and then we'll work with the task force with the HSC to see how that might be rolled out, it my own view for example is one of the priority groups within that is a 12 to 15 year olds who have underlying conditions that's something that I want to see prioritised and rolled out as quickly as possible."
