Dublin And Cork Airports Have Accumulated Losses Of €150 million

Cork Airport was expected to host over 2.6 million passengers this year, however Covid travel restrictions have seen that figure drop by 95%.

Ryanair are now threatening to close its base here in Cork for the winter, if the Government does not adopt the EU traffic light system for international travel.

Sinn Féin's transport spokesperson, Darren O'Rourke, says the government needs to take immediate action.
