Here's a reminder of today's COVID headlines
423 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic - 11 of those are here in Cork, and five additional deaths have also been reported.
There has been a total of 4,732 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
As of midnight, Tuesday 6th April, the HPSC has been notified of 423 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 239,325* confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

Final preparations are underway for the opening of the West Cork Vaccination Centre. The Clonakilty facility in the Ahamilla GAA complex has capacity to vaccinate up to 900 people a day.

The Taoiseach says there are no plans to change the vaccine rollout list.
It comes as three major teachers unions today backed a motion up to possible strike action.
While the vaccine rollout is currently based on age, the ASTI, TUI and INTO say teachers should be prioritised.

Restaurant owners say they're prepared to explore use of vaccine passports. However, the Restaurant Association of Ireland says a number of issues would have to be addressed in order to consider the move. Vaccine passports are being considered by a number of countries with a view to allowing those fully vaccinated, resume activities currently subject to restrictions. The RAI says workers would have to be vaccinated along with customers
