Cork TD Calls For More Clarity Over Use Of ViraPro Sanitisers A Week After Health Risk Was Reported

The company's hand sanitisers had to be pulled from use, as tests show it could cause irritation and possibly headaches

A Cork TD has called for more clarity on why ViraPro sanitisers were in use for a week after a health risk was reported.

The Department of Agriculture has advised consumers to stop using all sanitary products from the company 

It's after defects were found with hand sanitisers with some users reporting skin and eye irritation or headaches.

Nobody has yet explained why there was a delay, after the problem was first spotted 8 days ago.

It's reported a review is now underway.
