Cork taxi company installs perspex glass in taxis to ensure passenger safety
One of Cork's leading taxi companies has installed perspex glass into their taxis, to ensure the safety of drivers and customers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Satellite Taxis were inspired by the use of clear perspex glass in shops and supermarkets and have adapted the material to form a protective barrier between the driver and the customer.
The Leeside company are continuing to operate as normal throughout the Covid-19 outbreak, and are using their fleet to make vital healthcare deliveries, and to deliver food and medicine to vulnerable members of the community.
Anyone who uses the Satellite Taxis app will now have the option to order a car that is fitted with a perspex screen, and they can also be ordered over the phone on 021 4 80 80 80.
