Cork Nurse Says It's 'Demotivating' To See Some Nurses Receive A Bonus For Their Work During The Covid Pandemic, While Others Are Not Recognised

She added that many nurses here in Cork are on the brink of burn-out

She says are considering leaving the profession after the pandemic. 

It was announced this year that nurses in Northern Ireland are to receive a £500 "special recognition" payment for their work during COVID, while some student nurses will receive £2,000.

Speaking to RedFM News INMO's Cork based Kathyrn Courtney says a similar gesture should be given to nurses in Ireland who have given their all over the past 12 months:
