52 Further Deaths Linked To Covid-19 Have Been Confirmed This Evening
2,371 new cases have also been reported
The Chief Medical Officer says there are now signs of lower levels of the disease across the country.

'Of the 52 deaths confirmed today, 50 occurred this month and those who've died range in age from 39 to 99 years old. There are 1,931 people in hospital with Covid - with 78 admissions in the last 24 hours - and 219 patients in intensive care. The 14 day incidence is at 1,017 per 100 thousand - and Monaghan, Waterford, Louth and Wexford have the highest rates. The Chief Medical Officer says there are signs of a lower prevalence of the disease because of people following the restrictions. But Dr. Tony Holohan says a third of people with symptoms are waiting over 4 days until they get tested - and has urged people to contact their GP as soon as they feel unwell.'
