However the final seat is far from a certainty, with Solidarity TD Mick Barry, Independent Ken O’Flynn, FF Tony Fitzgerald and Green candidate Oliver Moran all separated by around 1%.
Speaking to RedFM News at the count centre at Nemo Rangers, Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire says while the exact make-up of the next government is unclear at the moment, his party are being realistic:
