Prison Staff Allegedly Assaulted Prisoners 37 Times Last Year
The Irish Prison Service has revealed the details under the Freedom of Information Act
In 2018, there were also 110 assaults committed by prisoners on staff, and 418 prisoner-on-prisoner attacks.
Dublin TD Tommy Broughan is particularly shocked at the allegations made against staff.
