Former Vita Cortex Workers To Joining Ex-Debenhams Employees For A Rally In The City Later
They're marking 161 days since staff began blockading their former workplace- the same amount of time Vita Cortex staff staged a sit-in protest in 2011.
It's been a week since eight staff left Debenhams Patrick Street Store in the City following a three day occupation.
They're calling for four weeks redundancy pay for every year of service and have rejected a one million top up offer from liquidators KPMG.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin met with the former workers last Friday in a meeting that was described as 'constructive'.
