Cork Hotel Offers Short Term Accommodation Options For Students Who Won't Be On Campus Full Time
Many students in Cork will be studying online in the upcoming academic year as a result of the COVID19 outbreak,
Many say they can't justify the cost of student accommodation for the limited time they will need to be on campus.
It comes as hotels across the country continue to adapt to the challenges presented by the pandemic with business meetings largely taking place online, conferences cancelled and business trips postponed.
Speaking to RedFM News General Manager of the Maldron Hotel on the South Mall Robert McCarthy says it won't make financial sense for some students to pay for accommodation for the entire year, and the special student offer being developed by the hotel could help those who only need to be in Cork a few times per month:
