Motorists are being warned to use extra caution while using the roads today.
Heavy rain overnight in Cork and Kerry could lead to surface water on roads.
High spring tides may also add to the risk of flooding.
David Martin from the RSA says don't attempt to drive through water:
"There's an Orange Warning for Kerry and West Cork leading to localised flooding to provide difficulties for drivers. Take special care. If the road was flooded, choose another route; don't attempt to drive through it. For the roads that can appear shallow, the water can be deeper than you think. And the verge may also have subsided so there may also be trees or branches. So just steer clear of flooded roads".
