A burst watermain has interrupted the water supply to parts of North Cork.

Uisce Éireann customers in Kilbehenny Village and Ballygiblin will be vulnerable to low pressure and service interruptions.

It's likely the Mitchelstown Town North area will be affected later today.

Repairs are expected to be finished this evening.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.

The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact them on X (formerly Twitter) @IWCare with any queries.
