Bishop Lucey Park will close to the public from this Wednesday, 6th December.
The closure is to prepare the site for the redevelopment of the park from early 2024.
During the works, all park furniture, sculptures, plaques and signage will be put into storage.
The park's renewal include a new events pavilion and plaza, and a new tower to mark the eastern entrance.
The redevelopment works are expected to be completed in early 2025.
