US President Joe Biden has pledged a further 500 million dollars of military aid to Ukraine, as he makes a surprise visit to Kyiv.
That will include more ammunition for long range rocket systems.
There will also be further sanctions against Moscow.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says negotiations with Joe Biden today have been "fruitful and "very crucial".
