The World Health Organisation says the Covid-19 global health emergency is over.
Almost seven million deaths have been notified to the W-H-O in the three years of the pandemic.
The organisation's Director General, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus says it doesn't mean Covid is over as a health threat:
"Yesterday, the Emergency Committee met for the 15th time and recommended to me that I declare an end to the public health emergency of international concern. I have accepted that advice. It's therefore with great hope that I declare Covid-19 over as a global health emergency."
