A woman in her 80s has been killed in a car crash in County Mayo.
The collision, involving a car and a van happened last evening at 5.30pm, west of Achill Sound.
The woman, the sole driver of the car was pronounced dead shortly after.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses near the R319 to come forward.
