The war of wards between the Greens and Sinn Féin has continued into the New Year.
Minister Eamon Ryan has accused Sinn Féin of 'outright hostility to an environmental agenda - after it suggested a 'best case scenario' would be that no Green TDs were returned in the next general election.
In a pre-Christmas briefing for journalists, Minister Ryan says he believes his party is doing just fine:
"The more we deliver those bus services, the more we deliver low cost childcare next month, which Roger is going to do, the more Katherine builds that National Concert Hall across the way there, I think people will say "Yeah, I want more of that".
