Power cuts in Ukraine are having 'a devastating effect on the people of Ukraine on the ground.'
That's the warning from Unicef which says Russian attacks are 'wholly unjustified' and are making a dire humanitarian situation even worse.
Russia has shelled Kherson, with civilians facing a freezing winter due to the power cuts.
Unicef Chief Execiutive, Peter Power says it's trying to help children as best they can but there are challenges:
We were providing water sanitation and warm blankets, warm clothing for children, these unjustified attacks mean that millions of Ukrainian children now have to endure months of cold and darkness, and we're trying to provide humanitarian aid but these attacks are compromising our ability to deliver on our humanitarian mission inside Ukraine at the moment."
