UCD Professor: 'Lot Of Collateral Damage From Closing Down Schools' During Pandemic

'There's been a lot of collateral damage from closing down schools' during the pandemic.

That's the reaction of Professor Jack Lambert of UCD to Professor Martin Cormican of NPHET, saying the long-term closure of schools was wrong.

Professor Cormican has told the Irish Independent some of the National Public Health Emergency Team's decisions during Covid 19 were 'inhumane'.

Dr Lambert who's a professor of Medicine Infectious Disease says they should have realised the impact of lockdown on children
