Two men have been handed life sentences for beating a 34 year old man to death three and a half years ago.
Vincent Parsons was attending a stag do in Dublin in August 2019 when he was followed, attacked and left to die in a green area of Tallaght.
The family of 34 year old Vincent Parsons remembered the father of two as a soft and gentle man who was never in a fight.
On the night of the 26th of August 2019, he came into contact with 27 year old Philip Disney of Donomore Crescent in Tallaght, while attending a stag do at the Killinarden Inn.
After their interaction, Mr Parsons ran from the pub but was followed by Mr Disney and 30 year old Sean Carlyle of Donomore Avenue.
The pair attacked Mr Parsons for less than one minute, took his watch and left him unresponsive and fighting for his life.
Last month a jury anonymously found them guilty of his murder and today Mr Disney and Mr Carlyle were given life sentences.
In his sentencing, Mr Justice Kerida Naidoo said the men were in control of their actions that night and showed no human decency.
Both men smiled and winked to the public gallery during proceedings and heckled the Parson family, before being removed from court.
