Two men have died following a collision involving two motorcyclists and truck on the M50.
The two aged in their 50s and 60s were pronounced dead at the scene.
A section of the M50 was closed off for a number of hours following the collision yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí have begun an investigation following the collision that occurred shortly before 2pm yesterday afternoon on the M50 Northbound.
The collision, which occurred between Junction 9 and Junction 7, involved two motorcycles and a truck.
The road, which was closed for a number of hours causing major traffic delays reopened late last night
Gardaí are appealing to road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were traveling on the M50 Northbound before Junction 9 prior to the road being closed or any road users who may have passed the scene are asked to make the footage available to Gardaí.
Gardaí are also aware of graphic images of this collision being shared across social media and messaging applications and are appealing to the public not to share the material as it is disrespectful to the deceased and their family and friends.
