Tusla has nominated Kate Duggan as its interim chief executive.
She's replacing Bernard Gloster, following his appointment as CEO of the HSE.
Ms Duggan, who's a clinical speech and language therapist by profession, has been deputy CEO to Mr Gloster at Tusla.
