Tomorrow's planned strike action by SIPTU members employed by Zenith Bantry Bay Oil Terminal on Whiddy Island has been deferred.
The deferral is to allow workers time to consider proposals put forward by the Workplace Relations Commission today.
The proposed strike action was in response to the company's decision to make a number of employees redundant - and to introduce changes to pay and conditions for other workers.
