Three Men Arrested In Relation To Separate Murder Inquiries In Dublin

Three men have been arrested in relation to separate murder inquiries in Dublin.

A man in his 30s, and a woman in her 40s, have died following the incidents.

The first of these two attacks happened a property at the Royal Canal Park in Ashtown yesterday morning.

A woman in her 40s was discovered with stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has been removed to the city morgue, where a post mortem is due to be carried out today.

A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station for questioning.

Separately, two men in their late 30s have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man at a house in Collins Place, Finglas.

This assault happened at around seven o'clock last night and a man, also in his late 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for information on both fatal assaults and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
