Three men in their 30s have been arrested today, as part of a Garda investigation into match-fixing in the League of Ireland.
Two men were arrested in Dublin while a third was arrested in the east of the country on suspicion of Conspiracy to Defraud.
The operation, which included support from Interpol HQ in France, emerged from reports received from the FAI and UEFA around match fixing in the League of Ireland.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward.
