Inclusivity for all - is the promise for this year's Rose of Tralee.
The international festival is back after a two year 'pandemic-break' - and it's back with new rules for modern times.
Married women will be able to enter, transgender women are welcome, and the maximum age for entrants has been raised to 29.
Former Rose of Tralee - MEP Maria Walshe - says it's absolutely great:
"I think it's fantastic. I think, at the time, when the news broke a couple of months ago, I know there was confusion over 'you can't be a woman with children', but that actually had been in for some time for clarity. They have been able to enter into the festival for many years. There's 1000s of people that enter into the festival worldwide each year so I think that's a fantastic way to just make sure we're inclusive to all".
