A man in his 40s remains in a critical condition at Cork University Hospital after he suffered serious burns while working at Stryker in Carrigtwohill yesterday.
An investigation into the incident which injured two workers has been launched.
Emergency Services were called to the company's Anngrove building yesterday after 1pm.
It's believed the two men were working on the roof of the building when an explosion happened.

The latest survey from the AA shows the average price of petrol across the country is now €1.59 per litre, the lowest it's been since September 2021.
The average diesel price is €1.51 a litre, 9% lower than March of last year.
