The CAO late application facility closes for students later today.
Applicants are advised to register on the system ahead of the deadline at 5 o'clock this evening.
To apply they can go to cao.ie and click on 'Apply'.
Guidance Counsellor Betty McLoughlin has this advice:
"Firstly I would say to them if they haven't already applied, and they want to apply this is their last chance to see evening before 5pm. So all students have to do at this point is to log on to CAO.ie they will be asked for their personal details, their leaving cert number, date of birth, and so on, and they just fill in those details for now, before 5pm This evening."
