TD says he was 'quite surprised' Sabina Higgins' statement about the Ukraine war went up on the President's website.
She wrote a letter to the Irish Times calling on both Russia and Ukraine to enter negotiations, to try and reach a peace deal.
Gary Gannon says he doesn't think those views are reflective of the Irish people's - the statement's since been removed.
