The Taoiseach says he expects regulations on turf to be announced at the end of this week.
It's understood the public will still be allowed sell turf to friends and neighbours, in a climbdown on previous plans.
However Ministers today denied the final announcement on turf was delayed to get through the no-confidence motion first.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin says more details will be available in a few days:
"By the end of the week, the company will make a decision in relation to that, I think there was for the prizing of members of different parties but essentially, I think there will be tough regulations by the end of the week."
