The Taoiseach and Tánaiste appear to be at odds over waiving school transport fees.
It's reported Leo Varadkar told his party it was a "mistake" to have free school transport, saying some fee should have been maintained to stop the service becoming oversubscribed.
The Irish Daily Mail reports he suggested the government should instead have looked at changing voluntary contribution schemes.
But Taoiseach Micheál Martin says waiving the cost of school bus transport is a good idea.
