The Spire on Dublin's O'Connell Street turns twenty today.
At almost 400 feet, the stainless steel monument was designed by Ian Ritchie Architects and cost €4 million.
It was the flagship project of upgrades to street, and replaced Nelson's Pillar, which was destroyed back in 1966.
