A surge in cases of the flu seem to be striking just in time for Christmas.
That's according to the Medical Director of SouthDoc who says that this year has already been extremely busy as many children are coming to the service with high fevers.
The service are preparing for a very busy Christmas and New Year as patient numbers will increase when GP surgeries close for public holidays.
SouthDoc are reminding patients who need their help that they are an appointment only service, and to leave their phone line free for a call back from their private number.
