The sister of a murdered Mayo woman is appealing to people to find the 'courage' and 'bravery' to come forward.

Today is the 21st anniversary of Sandra Collins' disappearance, with events taking place this evening to mark the occasion.

The 28-year-old went to a take-away in Killala, Co Mayo, at night in December 2000 - and was never seen again.

A murder investigation is continuing - and her sister, Bridie Conway, has made a new appeal for information:

"Come forward with any information that they'd have, let it be, you know, large or small. And find the courage and the bravery, if they harbouring any secrets for anybody, to come forward and be able to reunite Sandra with me and my brothers and my sister. Be able to let us bring her home and give her the Christian burial that she deserves."
