Ryanair staff will soon get extra incentives to catch people with oversized luggage.
The airline currently awards staff 1 euro 50 cent for every oversize bag intercepted – this has now been confirmed to rise by a euro in the coming months.
CEO Michael O’Leary believes there’s huge support for the measure;
"It may not be introduced in November, we're talking to our staff groups at the moment. The incentive will go up to about €2.50, but it's part of a bigger pay increase discussions that are ongoing at the moment with our people"
