Parents will be able to set goals on their kids' Revolut accounts for them to fulfill before receiving pocket money.

That's one feature of the fintech company's revamp of their 6 to 17s service, Revolut <18.

Kids and teens can also send and receive money using the app, as well as customise their own card with drawings, messages and even emojis.

General Manager for Premium Products at Revolut, Tara Massoudi, says safety is of utmost importance for the company:

"With the kind of products that we're building, we make sure that we maintain that level of parental oversight and we keep a safe and controlled environment for the parents and we give the parents the tools that they need to manage this in the way that they want. So a lot of the features have a toggle so you can switch on and off or you can control card settings from within the retail app so the parents can control card safety and security features as well."
