The Restaurants Association of Ireland says the VAT rate cut for the tourism sector must be extended again.
It comes as the domestic economy is expected to lose out on more than a billion euro this year due to the Government block-booking hotels for asylum seeker accommodation.
More than half of that is expected to be in food and drink foregone.
