With the warm weather continuing over the weekend it's important to stay hydrated.
Water is the best way to avoid dehydration according to a leading dietician.
However fruit, milk, herbal teas and even coffee will contribute to the daily intake.
Registered dietician with Danon and broadcaster Shelly Gray says it's important to recognise when we need to drink:
"When hydration levels fall, we feel exhausted, we feel dizzy, we can't concentrate, we get headaches, we get a dry mouth. This can happen especially in the summertime as we sweat more. So we're sweating to cool our body temperature down, so we're losing more water via the skin. So it makes sense that we don't wait until you actually feel thirsty. If you feel the thirst sensation, it means you're already dehydrated so try not to let that happen".
