The Rally for life march is taking place in Dublin today.
Organisers say the chief aim of the rally is to urge the public, and the government, to rethink abortion.
Pro-life TDs, Independent Carol Nolan and Peadar Tóibín of Aontú, will also address the rally.
Pro Life Campaign spokesperson Eilís Mulroy says it's important that resources are put in place to support and inform women about alternatives to abortion:
"Spiralling abortion figures and the fact that over 20,000 abortions have happened since the law came into being is of grave concern. And so many people are realising, on that point, to draw attention to the fact that women in unplanned pregnancy need to hear positive alternatives to abortion".
